ANTI is a prefix which
Is used in lots of ways
It can imply "of the same kind;
going a different way"
As in "anticlinal",
Something to do with plants,
Which I won't go into
It's beyond me so I shan't.
The prefix also can relate
To something opposite,
So one who anti-implicates
Is someone who's explicit!
And if you are the kind who hates
When someone makes up words
Words like "anti-implicate"
Then it's time you heard
That an opposing point of view
Or hostile attitude
Also is a concept that
ANTI does imbue.
Then again it can imply
That which alleviates,
As in "antibiotics"
When they eliminate
All the bad bacteria
Along with all the good
To stop you from being buried in
A coffin made of wood!
And lastly ANTI can be used
Of combat or defense
As in the antiaircraft gun
To ward off an offence.
