Backlist

Here's the basic simple gist
About what's known as a backlist
I'll try to say more here than simply hint

That it's a sort of register
Maintained by a publisher
Of published works that are all still in print.

What is the Meaning of Abate?

About the Author            Home            What's it all about?

Abate

When things seem much to fast for you
Or there's just too much to do
And you find you need a little break,

To lessen in intensity
Its clear your best defence will be
To slow down or in other words abate!

What is the Meaning of Eau de vie?

About the Author            Home            What's it all about?

Eau de vie

I had a glass of eau-de-vie
Which is a type of French brandy
Upon a date one night with my fine wife,

Made from pears or raspberries
And their fermented properties
Which in English it means "water of life"
